Blair Motluk

Clinical Counsellor | BA, MA, RCC

My therapeutic focus is in trauma, addictions, traumatic brain injuries, anxiety and depression.  Despite my work in First Responder mental health, I apply a person-centred approach to therapy for individuals of all backgrounds. I believe that all experiences can lead to resiliency and growth, but the path to getting there is specific to each client. In working with law enforcement personnel, firefighters, paramedics, EMT’s, and emergency medical professionals, I’m practiced in targeting Post Traumatic Stress Injuries, struggles with emotional processing and behavioural as well as substance addictions.

I hold a master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver, along with my Colorado Psychotherapist Registration, BC Clinical Counsellor Registration and Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association Membership.

Although my practice is new to Canada, I have worked in various capacities in Denver, Colorado and am able to provide services in both English and French for assessment, treatment, service coordination, and urgent response to complex clients.
